Kahan will discuss not just the city’s roots—the Lenape people who once lived along the Delaware River and the European settlers who eventually arrived on its shores—but also the rise of industry, the political landscapes, and the diverse communities that were key in forging itsfuture.A fascinating portrait of a unique metropolis.Kahan will sell and sign copies of his book, Philadelphia: A Narrative History.Admission is $15.
