The intent of the course is to increase the students’ knowledge in strategy and tactics for emergency incidents and help identify strengths

The intent of the course is to increase the students’ knowledge in strategy and tactics for emergency incidents and help identify strengths and weaknesses. This training will be presented through incident simulations utilizing a variety of mediums including the Fire Studio program and sand table manipulative exercises. This class will continue to be offered twice a year as the department’s preparatory class for the tactical portion of the Fire Captain and Battalion Chief promotional processes.
