Suchitra and Vaniya will discuss the ways in which technology companies have become active collaborators in systems of occupation, apartheid, and genocide. From AI-driven surveillance and predictive policing to cloud infrastructure that underpins military logistics, Big Tech has become indispensable to Israel’s genocide.&nbsp;The BDS movement has identified Big Tech as a new frontier in the struggle against apartheid. They will trace the nexus of capital, technology, and state violence. They’ll ask what it means to imagine resistance within and outside corporate structures designed to suppress dissent.Vaniya Agrawal is a former Microsoft employee and organiser with No Azure for Apartheid whose protest exposed Microsoft’s entanglement with Israel’s war machine. She resigned with an open letter detailing how Microsoft AI powers Israel’s most classified military projects.
