The first of three events, this workshop will focus on preserving and protecting the Saco River as beautiful and vital resource!

Full day workshops, featuring both classroom and field sessions. The events will focus on preserving and protecting this beautiful and vital watershed. Our journey will begin in the upper reaches of the watershed and end near its termination at Saco Bay.The course will be offered three times, at three locations in the watershed. This class qualifies for six (6.0) Continuing Education Hours (CEH) for individuals Certified in Erosion Control Practices by Maine DEP. Each CEH affords certified individuals one year of recertification. Be sure to notify the host organization of your certification status to ensure DEP is notified and credit is properly applied.Registration Cost, including all course materials, and credit for 6.0 Professional Development Hours: $30.00 per registrantCDC Health Care Guidelines, as in place for public gatherings for the days of the events, will be followed.
