Rooted in the vibrant traditions of Central Europe, the concert begins with Zoltán Kodály’s Duo for Violin and Cello, Op. 7, a virtuosic exchange alive with folk rhythms and lyrical depth. Bohuslav Martinů’s Three Madrigals for Violin and Viola follows, its luminous textures and spirited counterpoint capturing both intimacy and exuberance.
