This course is Child &amp; Babysitting Safety, for youth ages 11-16.  This course offers an official Babysitting Safety certification card from the American Safety &amp; Health Institute.  More details about the course (including topics) can be found on our website at www.SafetyFirstJax.com on the Babysitting Safety Course page.Date: Sat, Aug 28, 9:00 - 11:00a. This is a BLENDED LEARNING COURSE, meaning that online coursework that we provide must be completed prior to the class and is combined with the classroom portion to demonstrate skills learned.  Upon registering and within 24 hours, the Babysitting Safety online course will be emailed out for the student to work on and complete prior to the class date.  It is a fun course and is geared towards youth and covers the information that we normally would cover in class. Students must complete the online course in order to come to the in-person skills class.NOTE: We also have a Blended Learning CPR and Basic First Aid course on the same day, same place, following the Babysitting Safety class if your child is interested in this certification as well. (It is also for adults.) Details at <a href="https://aug28cprfa.eventbrite.com">https://aug28cprfa.eventbrite.com</a>.Location of in-person skills class:  Englewood Christian Church, 4316 Barnes Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32207.Upon successful completion of both the online course and the in-person skills class, student will receive digital certification card. Our cancellation/refund policy: Once an online course link is emailed out, the course is 50% refundable if you choose not to take it at all.  Rescheduling of your in-person session must be done 24 hours in advance and you can then be rescheduled for the next available in-person session.  Same day cancellations or no-shows cannot be rescheduled except under case by case circumstances.
