To celebrate its 140th anniversary, the Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis is hosting a homecoming! Register today for the Alumni Celebration. You won&#x27;t want to miss this informative program, the chance to see old friends, and an opportunity to expand your network. We are planning a fun, information-packed day.Program highlights include:<ul><li>The impact of the Department on the California and global wine industries</li><li>The &quot;State of the Industry&quot; with Jon Moramarco, Alumnus and Managing Partner, BW166</li><li>A panel discussion covering the breadth of our alumni&#x27;s experiences and the value of their UC Davis education</li><li>Explore the exciting future of the Department with our newest faculty</li><li>Enjoy lunch with old friends and take the opportunity to chat with current students</li><li>A Poster Session with the latest research results from the Department and the chance to reconnect or connect with faculty</li><li>Tours of our world-class facilities</li></ul>Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Registration Information:General admission is $150/person. You have the option to purchase additional $150 tickets at checkout to sponsor the cost of two recent graduates (2016-21) who will attend at the reduced cost of $75.Photos:If you would like to share a photo from your time as a student at UC Davis and/or a current photo, please email it to cjfirman@ucdavis.edu along with the following information:• Your graduation year• Approximate date the photo was taken• A caption• The names of any other people present in the photoAccommodations:We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Hotel for the nights of December 2nd and December 3rd. This hotel is just steps away from the Conference Center where the majority of the event will take place. The deadline to reserve a room at this rate is November 19, 2021 or when the block fills, whichever comes first. We encourage you to reserve your room early. Please note, that the rate is only valid for the nights of 12/2 and 12/3 and if you are trying to book outside of these dates, the rate may be higher.COVID-19 Health and Safety ProtocolsThe following health and safety protocols will be implemented at the event. Please note that these guidelines may change to become more or less restrictive as the University changes its policies.Per current UC Davis guidelines, all in-person event attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours to attend the event. You must provide one of the following options when checking-in at the event.  • Any attendee can show their CDC Vaccine Card (phone image acceptable) or digital vaccine record from the State of California.• International students may show their translated vaccine record.• UC Davis employees or students can show their valid <a href="https://campusready.ucdavis.edu/symptom-survey" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Daily Symptom Survey</a> compliance email.• Unvaccinated individuals can show a negative COVID-19 test result from the last 72-hours. (must be a lab/PCR test; home tests/antigen tests are not valid)The following is also required of all event attendees:• Visitors are required to complete a Daily Symptom Survey prior to entering facilities on campus.
