Address given to private home location upon registration.ניסימי נעים נאור הוא שף שעובד במרחבים של זכרון, תרבות, היסטוריה ומסורת, ומשתמש באוכל כדי לחקור את הקשרים העמוקים ביניהם. ופחמימות. תמיד פחמימות.את ההכשרה המקצועית התחיל ניסימי במטבחה של סבתא מרים, ומשם המשיך לעבודה בכמה מטובי המטבחים בישראל, בין השאר בתור אופה הפוקאצ’ות הראשי של איל שני.המטבח של ניסימי הוא מטבח ים תיכוני צבעוני, קליל, טרי ועונתי, שמבוסס על שימוש בשפע הנפלא שסובב אותנו- ירקות טריים וצלויים, גבינות, מאפים, בשרים ודגים. הוא מקפיד על שימוש בחומרי גלם מקומיים וטריים כשהם בשיאם, ועל מטבח שמספר חלק מהסיפור היהודי, הים תיכוני והישראלי- סיפור של מסע תרבותי, של חומרי גלם נהדרים, של חיבור של מסורות ומרחב גאוגרפי- ועל טיפול עדין בחומרי הגלם, באופן שגורם להם לזהור.ניסימי נולד וגדל בתל אביב; מתגורר בירושלים עם אשתו שלומית ושלוש בנותיהם. הוא מחזיק בתארים בפילוסופיה, כלכלה, מדע המדינה ומשפטים ולומד בתכנית לרבנות ישראלית של מכון הרטמן. הוא אוהב מאוד את יהודה עמיחי ולאה גולדברג, והפחמימה האהובה עליו היא פוקאצ’ה טוסקנית עם ענבים שחורים וטימין.Rabbi Chef Nissimmi Naim Naor is a celebrated Israeli chef, ordained rabbi, educator, and speaker who blends culinary artistry with Jewish heritage and storytelling to create transformative, multi-sensory experiences.He is the creator and TV host of A Pot of Longing, a poignant Israeli series where he cooks family recipes with those who have lost their loved ones, using food as a bridge between past and present.Beyond the kitchen, Nissimmi holds degrees in philosophy, economics, political science, and law. He received his rabbinical ordination from the Shalom Hartman Institute and serves as a Casualties Notification Officer in the IDF reserves, having dedicated over 200 days to this role since October 7th.THE EVENING WILL INCLUDE DEMONSTRATIONS (AND TASTING!)
