Tour and Orientation

Never been to the Makerspace and curious to see what it’s all about? Join us for a guided tour and learn about the tools, studios, and resources available—and how you can access them.

This orientation is required for all new members and helps you get comfortable with our space, policies, and community. Sessions typically last up to an hour, depending on attendance.

Topics covered include:

• A tour and overview of the Makerspace
• How membership works and what it’s like to work in the shops
• Our Code of Conduct and safety requirements

There will be time at the end for questions and for scheduling any required safety checkouts or shop orientations. If you’re interested in pottery, please be sure to sign up separately for a pottery orientation.
