Hello Family! Better news!!!The Brownstoners&#x27; 43rd Annual House Tour - a virtual event has been a hit! Due to great audience feedback and increased demand, we have decided to extend the viewing of the tour now an additional TWO weeks! If you want to be a part of the thousands of viewers who have already attended our tours in the past, please see below for buying your tickets and receiving the video link(s).The Brownstoners House Tour will be available to all tickets holders for viewing, at their leisure, two weeks longer. The tour started Saturday, October 23rd, and will now close Sunday, November 28th at 11:30 PM. This year’s theme, Preserving Our Legacy Through Challenging Times, While Embracing the Future, pays homage to a vision of revitalization initiated by a few neighbors who were concerned about their struggling community.The idea for the House Tour was born out of the desire to introduce and reintroduce our beautiful community as a viable place to live, work, own a business and raise a family. The House Tour also partially serves as a scholarship fundraiser for gradating students from local Bed-Stuy high schools attending HBCU colleges. If you would like to make a donation toward our scholarships, please do so at our website - http://brownstonersofbedstuy.org.Like last year, this year the House Tour will be a virtual event due to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. The House Tour is an important tradition for the Bed-Stuy community, and as part of the Brownstoners mission, will prevail with the intentions of running in-person next year while maintaining a virtual component.
