This workshop introduces beginners to using the Shopbot Desktop CNC. A versatile too for cutting a variety of materials in complex shapes.

Join us for an introduction to the ShopBot CNC. If you are new to CNCs they allow you to cut intricate designs in a variety of materials, that would be too thick or dangerous to cut with a laser cutter. We will walk you through the basics of designing, preparing and cutting with this powerful but easy to use CNC machine. We will look at different ways to cut drill and etch surfaces. This workshop is a great way to find out what CNC are about.
