Differential Susceptibility in Childhood: A workshop for parents raising sensitive children and youth with Are You Highly Sensitive

Highly sensitive childhood is where differential susceptibility science creates magic. So many parents are seeing (and feeling) the vulnerabilities of their sensitive children. You probably didn’t think, “Hey, let’s get pregnant and have the most sensitive, challenging baby ever.” For some reason, you are the one who gets to raise the profoundly gifted child who can change the world. Luckily, there are a lot of them and you are not alone, but it is not easy, and especially not if you too are highly sensitive. So let’s just take a breath and honor the challenges. Now, let’s open our eyes and see the gifts. I’ll be bringing out my brainstorm on the gifts we see in our sensitive children and youth. They (you) are amazing humans. With the right environment, you can shepherd them into a life that is impacted by differential susceptibility with all the amazing, wonderful, positive influences so they lead a life as a deep processing, profoundly noticing, emotional leader with the empathy the world needs more than ever.
