<p>Presented by South Coast Sports Medicine, join WASO Principal Flute Andrew Nicholson with Accredited Exercise Physiologist and corrective exercise specialist John Toomey for a practical workshop on improving your playing posture. Just like athletes; musicians can use specific exercises to improve their performance. Good posture supports airflow, enhances tone, boosts endurance and prevents fatigue and injury. Andrew will discuss playing posture and how to keep your muscles relaxed, and John will show you some practical techniques. Bring any instrument for individual advice, bring your questions for the experts. Or, just come along and learn insights as an observer, one in our series of valuable community upskilling events in the Festival.</p>
