Join us for an afternoon Jazz Brunch and fundraiser event for our organization, Sowing Seeds Into The Midlands. You’ll enjoy the sounds of soul, blues and jazzy grooves expertly delivered by H. Wade Johnson &amp; Pride Ensemble. This is one of the most entertaining bands you will experience. Their goal is to ensure a good time is had by all and they never disappoint! Come experience the music of Earth, Wind &amp; Fire, George Benson, The Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Frankie Beverly &amp; Maze, and much more as only H. Wade Johnson &amp; Pride Ensemble can deliver.ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATIONSowing Seeds into the Midlands (&#x27;Seeds&#x27;) is a grassroots nonprofit committed to helping youth ages 13-18 thrive. Based in Columbia, South Carolina, we offer support services and tailored programming to help teens make informed decisions that benefit their futures. From life skills training and professional counseling to mentoring and after-school tutoring, we create safe spaces for teens to engage authentically and respectfully with themselves and the world around them.Our aim with this event is to raise $10,000 in support of our growing effort to interrupt the school to prison pipeline and provide brave spaces where Midlands teens can thrive. Give 8/28 (Giving Black Day) builds on the momentum created by Black Philanthropy Month with one concentrated day of giving for Black nonprofits.We hope that you&#x27;ll come out to enjoy an afternoon of good music at Chayz Lounge while supporting our efforts and learning about our impact in the community. Chayz Lounge is arranged for physical distance so seating is very limited. Don’t wait too late! Purchase your tickets now and plan to arrive early for the best parking. Proper attire is required.
