The Social Innovation Forum's mission is to create positive social change in Greater Boston. We do this by engaging leaders, strengthening organizations, and building networks. Join us for a trip to New Bedford on Thursday, September 30 to meet with participants and sponsors of SIF's New Bedford Capacity Camp

We invite you to join us for an exciting visit to New Bedford on Thursday, September 30 to meet with the six participants of the Social Innovation Forum New Bedford Capacity Camp Program, along with the program sponsoring partners, the Schrafft Charitable Trust and the Island Foundation.Site visits will provide an opportunity to learn more about these dynamic nonprofits and see their work in action. We will visit a farmer&#x27;s market, explore urban gardens, have lunch catered by local restaurants, and learn about New Bedford&#x27;s history and potential opportunities for engagement and collaboration. Space is limited, so we encourage you to reserve your space now. More information will follow in August. The Social Innovation Forum (SIF) is actively monitoring the incidence of COVID-19 in our region. We have been asked how COVID-19 may impact upcoming events including New Bedford Capacity Camp Site Visits. SIF is following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large or small in-person gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

At this time, our upcoming event in New Bedford will take place as planned. However, if you are sick or feeling you are getting sick, we advise that you please stay home.
