&lt;strong&gt;Class Description&lt;/strong&gt;Learning about photography can be a real challenge. There are so many pieces to the puzzle of photography, some of which use confusing terminology. And while we also offer other wonderful Beginner Photography classes to get you started, nothing is truly the same as hands-on in-the-field! It’s important to fully understand the “why” and “how” of your camera settings.In this outdoor, hands-on class, you&#x27;ll learn all about the basics of photography. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera), the Big Three Settings (Aperture, Shutter Speed, &amp;amp; ISO), how they affect your picture and how to set them, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We&#x27;ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what’s in focus in the background), stopping or blurring the action in your scene, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about your camera in a fun and safe environment! Join us to strengthen your photographic knowledge!&lt;strong&gt;In this session of Beginner Photography in the Field...&lt;/strong&gt;...we will be going to Piers Park in East Boston. Piers Park was developed in the mid-1990s, offering beautiful landscaping, natural vegetation, and stunning views of downtown Boston. During this session of Beginner Photography in the Field, you will learn about photograph on the grounds of Piers Park and the Boston skyline during blue hour, sunset, and civil twilight. The variety here is excellent, and the time frame is an excellent opportunity to learn about long-exposures. If you&#x27;re a beginner and you also want to learn about how to shoot in low-light and night situations, this is a great opportunity! (Honestly, it&#x27;s really a great opportunity for ANYONE that&#x27;s a beginner!) Bring your camera and your enthusiasm to learn all about photography in a hands-on, real-life environment!And yes, you&#x27;ll end up with images in the end like those you see here.
