Guided by expert instruction, you’ll learn how to select, prepare, and coil longleaf pine needles into stunning handcrafted baskets. This course covers essential techniques such as starting a coil, shaping your basket, and finishing with decorative stitches. Along the way, you’ll explore the cultural history of basket making and the sustainable use of natural materials. Whether you're looking to connect with nature, develop a new skill, or simply enjoy a relaxing creative experience, this class offers a meaningful journey into the heart of forest craft. $75 tuition plus $25 supply fee.
