<h3>Nature and Creativity</h3><h3>Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with Us!</h3>A time of balance, transition, and reflectionJoin us for a gentle, experiential workshop exploring how nature and creative expression can support a balanced nervous system. This outdoor gathering is designed to help you reconnect with calm, curiosity, and creativity through mindful engagement with the natural world. <h3>🌿 What to Expect:</h3><ul><li>Guided Trail Walk and meditations- intentional practices to cultivate curiosity, inner stillness and awareness.</li><li>Nature-Informed Sensory Practices- Engage the senses to foster presence and nervous system regulation.</li><li>Mindful Nature Art- curiosity and expression using natural materials and simple techniques—no art experience necessary! Some art will be coming home with you!</li><li>Nervous System Support Tools- Learn gentle, accessible practices to help you return to a place of balance and learn how creativity impacts the nervous system.</li><li>Deepening MAPS in Nature Practices- Enhance your connection to yourself and the natural world through our IWM's "MAPS in Nature" framework.</li></ul> <h3>🌿 What to Bring:</h3><ul><li>Weather-appropriate clothing and shoes</li><li>Art is fun and can be messy! Keep in mind when choosing your outfit!</li><li>Water and snacks for your comfort</li><li>Any personal items you need to feel at ease outdoors</li></ul>We will be outside for the entire duration of the workshop, so please come prepared to fully enjoy the fresh air and changing season.Support tickets and scholarship tickets are available, please email tania@myintegrativewellness.com to inquire.

<h3>Location and Facilities</h3>Locust Grove, 7777 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817Locust Grove Nature Center provides a natural sanctuary from the surrounding urban bustle in Bethesda, Maryland and offers many things to do, including environmental interpretation and education programs for all ages. Facility has indoor restrooms and water fountain near pagoda location.

<h3>Weather &amp; Cancellation Policy</h3>This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event designed to help us reconnect with the natural world — in all her moods. Please come prepared for changing weather (sun, rain, wind, cool nights), and bring appropriate clothing and gear for comfort and safety.In the case of severe or unsafe weather conditions (such as lightning storms, wildfire risk, or high winds), we may adjust the schedule, delay, or cancel the event for safety.If we must cancel due to weather, you’ll receive a partial refund (total minus $25 venue fee) or credit toward a future offering. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we honor both the land and your wellbeing.
