The Genealogy Center is at 900 Library Plaza in Fort Wayne, Indiana located inside the main branch of the Allen County Public Library (ACPL). Parking is located in the Main Library garage and nearby surface lots on Webster, Harrison, and Wayne Streets.

Are drinks or food allowed in the library and/or Discovery Center?

Food and beverages are NOT allowed INSIDE the Discovery Center. However, you may enjoy food and/or beverages in the MAIN HALL and outdoor seating of the Allen County Public library.

How does 'gateless' parking work at the Allen County Public Library (ACPL)?

ACPL has a gateless parking system:
1) Park your vehicle in the garage or surface lot.

2) Take note of your license plate number.

3) Enter the library and scan the posted QR code.

4) Follow prompts to enter your license plate number and basic contact info.

5) Your first THREE HOURS are FREE.
