Join us for a variety of fall events at Landmark Columbus Foundation!

This Progressive Preservation Talk with <a href="https://glendawinders.com/" title="https://glendawinders.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Glenda Winders</a> will feature information about the historic Southside Elementary School, which was designed by Eliot Noyes and completed in 1969. In a public discussion, <a href="http://glendawinders.com/" title="http://glendawinders.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Winders</a>, a Columbus-based writer, will share her work researching the school and archives.The event is produced in partnership with the <a href="https://columbus.in.us/" title="https://columbus.in.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Columbus Area Visitors Center</a> and will take place at the CAVC's Gallery 506 (506 5th Street). The evening will begin with a reception at 6:15 p.m. with light refreshments provided. The talk will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include time for feedback from those in attendance.Glenda Winders is the author of two novels, “The Nine Assignments” (now being adapted for television) and “Sainted in Error,” which has won a starred Kirkus Review. She also writes for Columbus, Indy South, and Travel Indiana magazines; is the travel editor for Creators Syndicate in Los Angeles; does copyediting for Napa Valley Features; and edits for other writers. Previously in her career, she won a PEN/Syndicated Fiction award and a Missouri Writing! Award sponsored by the Missouri Arts Council. She has taught writing at the high school and college levels and was the vice president and editor at Copley News Service—an international news service and features syndicate based in San Diego. She is currently finishing a new novel, tentatively titled “Peculiar.”
