Do I need a ticket if the event is free?

Yes. Tickets are free but required for entry to ensure we stay within the 50-person capacity. Please reserve in advance.

Can I bring a guest?

Each registration is for one person. If you’d like to bring someone, they must register separately and secure their own ticket.

What if tickets are sold out?

We encourage you to join the waitlist. If spots open up, Eventbrite will automatically notify the next person in line.

What language will the event be in?

The main presentation and reading will be in English. Questions in Spanish are welcome during the discussion.

Will books be available for purchase or signing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Copies of Daring to Struggle, Daring to Win will be available, and Helen will be signing books after the reading.

Where exactly is the venue located?

The event will be held at Insurgentes #25, Zona Centro, 37700 San Miguel de Allende, Gto., Mexico, Salon Quetzal . You’ll receive a Google Maps link in your confirmation email.

This event is designed for an adult audience due to the themes of political activism and social struggle. We recommend ages 16+.
