<p>When it gets hot, the hot eat ice cream!  For thousands of years, humans have beat the heat with ice.  Embark on a lively trip through time, along the way encountering delicious treats from ancient Mesopotamia and China, the Persians, wanderers along the Silk Road, early Europe, and colonial America.  Finally, we’ll find out how this history culminates in the indulgence we know today with The Food Historian, Sarah Wassberg Johnson.  </p>
