A coffee klatch is a social event used in rural areas all over New England since the revolutionary war and by queer people for even longer for neighbors to get to know one another and learn about important transitions & issues in one another's lives. At most Q-MoB Coffee Klatches everyone has the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss a question or topic suggested by the host, as well as chat informally to one another.

IMPORTANT: To help bring you more of the kinds of activities you most want to get to know your queer male neighbors in the North Berkshires/Southwest VT, at this cofffee klatch we will spend a few minutes brainstorming & planning social, recreation, & arts/culture activities for queer men in North Berkshires & Southwest VT. Bring your ideas about the activities you’d most like to host or participate in.

SEEKING INTERGENERATIONAL CO-HOSTS: Q-MoB is looking for several intergenerational co-hosts for this monthly Queer Men's Coffee Klatch. Hosts get to know everybody, welcome people, invite them to wear a nametag, have people fill out the attendance form, facilitate an opening circle where everyone is encouraged to briefly introduce themselves, welcome newcomers & make sure they get included, make announcements about upcoming Q-MoB activities, & encouage participants to host activities in North Berkshires/Southwest VT like hikes, potlucks, game nights, arts/culture activities, etc., & make sure the community table is cleaned up at the end. 7 QUEER MEN'S COFFEE KLATCHES PER MONTH: To foster community close to where you live, Q-MoB offers 7 Coffee Klatches in towns throughout the Greater Berkshire Region. • 3rd Sundays Queer Men's Pioneer Valley Planning Coffee Klatch (Florence, MA), 11am-1:30pm
• 4th Sundays Queer Men's Coffee Klatch @ ILSE Roastery (N. Canaan, CT)

We also offer about 20 other activities per month, including potlucks & other social activities, recreation/wellness activities, and arts/culture activities, which you can learn about on the Q-MOB Activities Schedule.

DONATE OR BECOME A MONTHLY SUSTAINING MEMBER: Please donate $10-$20 either online or as cash or check made out to "Q-MoB Inc" to help assure Q-MoB can continue to offer more than 20 activities & multiple resources & services to rural queer men all over the region. If you attend 2 or more Q-MoB events/month or just want to support us in a more regular way, please become a monthly sustaining donor member. By donating $25, $50, $75, or $100/month you can help to sustain the incredible variety of activities, services, and resources Q-MoB provides and assure all of these activities are accessible to men regardless of their age, income, or ability, and best of all you can avoid having to donate at each and every event you attend. Monthly Sustaining Members pay only once a month and then can attend all our activities FREE.

CARPOOLING/RIDE-SHARE: If you need a ride or are open to carpooling, please indicate that when you are registering, & our ride coordinator will try to match you with people nearby who are interested in carpooling or offering rides.
