By lifeguard Tower 28</p><p>Convenient Parking : Lot 5 , 2701 Barnard Way, Santa Monica, CA 90405</p><p>With light facilitation and intention, we dance, liberate, and celebrate to eclectic tunes spun by our live DJ  (from tribal house, to electronic, to old school funk, classics, and hip hop) streaming into silent disco headsets, giving you the freedom to dance, connect, and have space for full self expression. The sandy beach is your dance floor...the waves and the setting sun is your backdrop.</p><p>Event Flow:</p><p>5:30-6:00- Check-in</p><p>6:00-6:30- Opening Circle</p><p>6:30-7:30- Silent Disco Dance w/ Jenny Westra</p><p>7:30-7:45- Meditation, Music and closing circle</p><p><strong>What to bring:</strong>  water bottle, extra warm layers for warmth and the final meditation,  your mask.</p>

<h1>Meet JEMS:</h1><p>We are JEMS (Jessica, Emily, and Sara Margaret), a folk trio based here in Los Angeles.</p><p>A little bit about us...</p><p>Following a cross-country solar eclipse pilgrimage resulting in an impromptu tour in the summer of 2017, the transcendent Alternative Folk trio, JEMS, was born. Their self-titled debut album, released in May of 2019, echoes the journey of self-reclamation and authentic empowerment they have had as a trio. Featured on NPR’s “World Cafe,” and Spectrum’s “Music Diaries,” JEMS shares stories of songwriting sessions that sometimes look more like group therapy, the power of vulnerability, and kinship found in amplifying women’s stories. Through rich three-part harmonies, JEMS weaves stories, sounds, and raw emotion with a shimmering fervor. Listeners of all kinds can’t seem to resist the songwriting prowess and vocal alchemy of JEMS.</p><p>You can find us on instagram @weare_jems, all the streaming platforms, and on our website www.wearejems.com. </p>

<p>The wave silent disco, is more than just a community dance event. It's a movement to end loneliness worldwide. A portion of the proceeds of ticket sales and donations, supports ALMA, our non profit organization that addresses loneliness and isolation  in seniors citizens through movement, arts, and intergenerational connection!!
