Vox Venti performs "Quintessence" to culminate their fourth season under the baton of Artistic Director Ed Frazier Davs
Chicago's Vox Venti culminates its season with Quintessence, a brand new, large-scale work for choir, string orchestra, and English horn, with both music and text written by Ed Frazier Davis - a meditation on grief, physical death, and the nature of the soul. Our concert also features works by Andrew Balfour and Caroline Shaw, along with the winners of the William Baker Choral Foundation's 2025 Barnard Choral Composition Awards presented through the WBCF Institute for Choral Creativity. Founder and Artistic Director of Vox Venti, Ed Frazier Davis, conducts.
