The Last Five Years

Adaire Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our goal is to enhance local theatrical offerings through inclusive, engaging and affordable programming. We are committed to strengthening ties to the community by offering a quality theatre experience to both actors and patrons. It is our mission to produce engaging works that will foster educational and artistic growth. We aim to produce quality shows that will enhance the values of the community and inspire collaboration between a variety of organizations and business, leaving a lasting impression on our society.

Adaire Theatre presents The Last Five Years, the story of a failed marriage told through two perspectives.

Pulaski Elks Lodge

An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years, the show&#x27;s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.(Note: Due to a flight of stairs leading to venue, this facility is not handicap-accessible.)Written and Composed By Jason Robert BrownOriginally Produced for the New York Stage by Arielle Tepper and Marty BellOriginially Produced by Northlight Theatre Chicago, ILThe Last Five YearsIs presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
