Mental Health Strong brings together  leaders to strategize solutions for supporting marriages with mental health and addiction  challenges.

About this event:Join us for the 1st Marriage and Mental Health Leadership Summit - a virtual event this year! Who should attend:<ol><li>Leaders, influencers, spouses, pastors and anyone else who is passionate about the marriage and the mental health community.</li><li>Mental health clinicians who want to help this community.</li><li>Mental health or marriage organizations who want to partner with this community.</li></ol>Opportunities:<ol><li>There is not a focused effort to help the marriage and mental health community, and only so much that can be done individually.</li><li>There is a general focus on mental health or families but not specifically on marriages impacted by mental health conditions or addiction challenges.</li><li>Many organizations don't have specific resources for marriages with mental health or addiction challenges. Hence the married couple struggles to find resources and is more likely to end up divorced.</li></ol>Agenda:<ol><li>Opening and introductions</li><li>Brainstorm in breakout groups on the vision and solutions</li><li>Determine next steps and ways to get involved (if desired to so but not obligated too)</li></ol>Note: Your expertise to join us even for just this brainstorming session would be extremely valuable regardless of whether you want to get involved long-term. What to expect:<ol><li>A ninety-minute virtual working session of leaders who want to help provide resources, help this underserved community, and reduce divorces.</li><li>Meet and network with other leaders in this space virtually.</li><li>Be a part of starting a movement to help couples with mental health and addiction challenges.</li></ol>
