Summer Strength and Conditioning Club

Outdoor group classes will begin in in June 2021 and run through summer. Group classes offer functional strength and conditioning programming at an affordable price. Functional training consists of movements and exercises that improve our performance in our everyday life as humans and athletes.

Strength and conditioning small group training sessions are every Saturday at 9:00 AM in Ohio City. In the chance of rain an updated location will be emailed to registered participants .Small group training allows the individual attention that you get when working with a trainer, and the community you get when attending group fitness classes. Strength and Conditioning Club is programmed to help participants learn how to lift heavy, functionally, and safely. Classes are based off of principles of functional training and hardstyle kettlebell technique.Participants will work with kettlebells, dumbbells, slam balls, bodyweight, + more to work towards building muscle, strength, and work capacity. Class will be 60 minutes long, and include a warm up, movement prep, and 45 minutes of full body strength and functional conditioning, and short cool-down. Format of classes vary, and will include group coaching, stations, and partner work .All levels are welcome, although some strength training background is encouraged as this will be an intermedite-level, station-based training session. If you are a beginner or new to strength training or hardstyle kettlebells, please feel free to contact me beforehand with questions or concerns.Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign waivers, introduce yourself, and meet other new people. About:Amanda has been a certified personal trainer since 2015, and holds additional certifications in hardstyle kettlebell training, small group training, TRX, and yoga.
