Friends of Netarts Bay Watershed Estuary Beach and Sea (WEBS) is dedicated to sustaining the area surrounding Netarts Bay through education and stewardship. WEBS staff and volunteers are knowledgable nature guides and interpreters offering free adventures to help you fall in love with and take care of this beautiful section of the Oregon Coast.

PLEASE READ BELOW FOR LOCATION DETAILSJoin WEBS Board President, Michael Krall, for an introduction to Tillamook County birds and birding. Michael will share his photographs, hints on where and when to bird in Tillamook County, and a potpourri of birds that you can see here. <h3>Schedule and Logistics:</h3>7:30AM-9:30AM OPTIONAL bird walk @ Cape Lookout Day Use Area<ul><li>We will "bird walk" (slow and leisurely) for 1-2 hours over easy terrain, listening and looking for whatever we can find.</li><li>Bathrooms are available at the parking lot.</li><li>Dress appropriately for fall Oregon weather.</li><li>Bring binoculars if you have them. We will have a few extra pairs that we can share, as well as a spotting scope or two.</li><li>There is a fee to park at Cape Lookout. Participants must have their own transportation from Cape Lookout to the OSU Extension Office</li></ul>10:30AM-12:00PM Presentation @ OSU Extension Office (4506 3rd St, Tillamook, OR 97141)Or join us on zoom! Link will be provided after registration.The program is oriented toward those with limited birding experience, but all levels are welcome! <h3>About the Presenter:</h3>Michael caught the birding bug starting with Golden Eagle banding in central Oregon with his 8th grade science teacher some 60 years ago. Michael birds and photographs extensively in Tillamook County, around Oregon, and beyond. <h3>Accessibility</h3>We understand everyone learns and experiences the outdoors differently, and we strive to support everyone who is interested in attending our events!
