Can I bring my own fabric?

Community members are encouraged to bring special, sentimental pieces of fabric and material from home to include in the quilt.

I don't know how to quilt.  Will you have someone to help me?

Patrons can expect to learn basic sewing skills and enjoy opportunities for conversation.

Are some workshops offered?

The workshops will be conducted by Shanise B and Nicolle V.                                                                         Workshop Dates:
1. Thursday, September 25th, 2:30 -4:30 p.m. 
2. Thursday, October 2nd, 2:30 -4:30 p.m. 
3. Thursday, October 9th,  2:30 -4:30 p.m.

Question 4

I don't have any fabric. Will the library have supplies?

Supplies, including scrap fabric, needles, and thread will be provided on loan.

Question 5

Do I get to keep what I make?

Accepted Answer

All submitted pieces will be made into a quilt, and fabric cannot be returned/taken back

What date and time is this going to start?

Thursdays 2:30-4:30 beginning September 25th and ending October 9th

Am I making my own quilt?

Accepted Answer

No,  participants will create squares/blocks from fabric and scrap material which will be combined with others’ work to form a large quilt, to then be displayed at the show.
