<h2>2 NIGHT NEW YEARS CELEBRATION IN THE CAVERNS HOSTED BY THE FLAMING LIPS</h2><p>Ring in 2022 in a timeless magical cave in Pelham, Tennessee with The Flaming Lips on February 19th  and February 20th. Inside <a href="http://www.thecaverns.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Caverns</a>—a jaw-dropping concert hall located deep underground—you'll revel in the prehistoric venue’s natural acoustics and otherworldly beauty while enveloped in the musical landscape of The Flaming Lips.</p><p>The Caverns draws music fans from all over the world. Live music inside a cave, it’s a bucket list experience that keeps fans coming back to The Caverns time and again for “The Greatest Show Under Earth." This is a New Year's celebration like no other and one you don't want to miss this epic experience.</p><p>Just ask anyone who witnessed the The Flaming Lips New Year's Eve show in 2018 during our inaugural year. It was an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCgbN9saZIw" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">exuberant spectacle</a> and the band's return to the underground has long been anticipated. <h2>COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS</h2><p>Masks required. To enter The Caverns:</p><ol><li>All guests must show negative COVID-19 test, administered within 72 hours of the show; OR</li><li>Guests may voluntarily provide proof of full vaccination. Full vaccination must be at least two weeks in advance of the day of the show. Booster shots not required at this time. Adults must show matching photo ID</li></ol>

<h2>THE FLAMING LIPS</h2><p>The Flaming Lips are an American rock band, formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1983. Melodically, their sound contains lush, multi-layered, psychedelic rock arrangements, but lyrically their compositions show elements of space rock, including unusual song and album titles—such as "Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles", "Free Radicals (A Hallucination of the Christmas Skeleton Pleading with a Suicide Bomber)" and "Yeah, I Know It's a Drag... But Wastin' Pigs Is Still Radical". They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience. In 2002, Q magazine named The Flaming Lips one of the "50 Bands to See Before You Die".</p>
