Each participant will learn the basics of blending, then bottle and hand-cork their own bottle to take home!

Learn the art and science of winemaking!
Start with a stroll through the stunning Cornerstone Gardens to learn about Meadowcroft’s unique winemaking perspective, along with the special history of Sonoma.
Then, we’ll blend wines that have been aged in separate oak barrels to make a classic red Bordeaux style blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and merlot. Experiment putting together different blending components using your 5 senses. When your blend is just right, you’ll label and cork your own 750ml bottle of your perfect blend to take home. This is an experience that you’ll never forget! Includes a selection of locally sourced cheese & accompaniments.

Our Wine Blending Experience
Sip, Blend & Create Your Own Wine! Your adventure begins with a guided stroll through the beautiful Cornerstone Sonoma gardens (weather permitting), followed by a fun, hands-on wine blending experience! Step into the role of winemaker! Your host will guide you through smelling, tasting, and evaluating four red wine barrel samples. Discover your favorite flavors and styles, then experiment with different combinations to create two unique Bordeaux-style blends. Taste them side by side and choose your favorite to bottle! Now for the Instagram moment! Use a traditional hand-corker to cork your own bottle, give your wine a creative name, and design a personalized label. Best of all, you'll take home your custom 750ml bottle to enjoy and show off! No experience necessary! Perfect for wine beginners and seasoned aficionados alike.
