Do I need to bring my own material?

Nope! Support from the Johnson County library means that instruction, crafting tools and materials will be provided.

Do I need to know how to sew or use any of the Maker Space materials?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience with sewing machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, or engravers is needed. Each class is beginner-friendly, and we’ll start with a short introduction to the project and equipment.

Do I have to attend the bike ride?

No. You can sign up for only attending the crafting class.

Do I have to attend the crafting class if I only want to ride bikes?

No. You can sign up for only attending the bike ride.

Question 5

How long is the bike ride?

Accepted Answer

We'll complete one loop of about 5-7 miles.  This is a no-drop ride. Bring your own bike, helmet and lights and please make sure your bike is in working order.  If there are youth present and riding, the loop will be about 2 miles long.
