ANY UNUSED TICKETS AT 0930AM WILL BE FILLED WITH INDIVIDUALS WHO JOINED THE STANDBY LIST. WE CANNOT GUARUNTEE ANY OPEN SEATS, SO THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE. SINCE THIS TOUR IS BEING CONDUCTED ON A TRAM, WE ARE LIMITED TO THE SEATING AVAILABLE.

The ANC History Office and Horticulture team are hosting a special public tram tour of ANC in honor of the 160th anniversary of ANC becoming a national cemetery.

Those interested in attending will meet in the ANC Welcome Center at 9:15 am. The tour will depart promptly at 9:30 am.

This tour will explore how ANC has evolved and expanded over its 160 years of existence. ANC’s historians and horticulturists will take visitors on a tram tour throughout the cemetery to trace the changes that have transformed this hillside property into a deeply symbolic landscape of memory.

This tram tour will include several walking stops across uneven terrain, please wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour will be held rain or shine—please dress appropriately for weather conditions. Be sure to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and wear a hat!
