We defend and plan for Central Oregon's livable future.

Central Oregon LandWatch

From the ponderosa pines of the Cascades to the juniper forests across the high desert, our wild forests make Oregon home.

Worthy Brewing Company

From the diverse subalpine forests of the Cascades and Blue Mountains to the dry ponderosa and juniper forests across the high desert, our wild forests make Oregon home. But their protections haven’t come without a legacy of struggle. At LandWatch, our mission is to protect our region’s wildlands to support biological diversity and critical wildlife habitat. Decades ago, LandWatch was fighting against clear cuts in the Metolius River Basin. Today, we are still fighting to protect old-growth trees in sensitive areas from timber sales and more.In this event, we’ll look at the ecological role of Oregon’s forests and the fight for their conservation that continues today. We've got some interesting historic footage paired with contemporary videos to share with you in this educational event for forest advocacy. This event will be held at Worthy Brewing Company in Bend and is free and open to all. We'll see you there!Location: Worthy Brewing Company, Hop Mahal Room, 495 NE Bellevue Dr, Bend, OR 97701
