ScienceAbroad is an Israel-based nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of senior Israeli scientists living abroad. Through its wide-reaching professional and social network, ScienceAbroad inspires connections with local communities, international scientists and with Israel. The network advances scientific achievements, bolsters the Israeli identity of scientists living overseas, and helps facilitate the return of great minds to Israel.Since its inception in 2006, ScienceAbroad has grown to over 3,900 members across 300 campuses and has established 32 branches worldwide run by scientists who volunteer their time and expertise.

הצטרפו לסופרגרופ ביולוגיה תאית וגנטיקה - סמינר ונטוורקינג. האירוע הוא אירוע וירטואלי (זום). הפעם נארח את ד״ר נעמי זיו.שם ההרצאה:Quantitative molecular analysis of stochastic phenotypic switchingעל המרצה:ד״ר נעמי זיו סיימה דוקטורט במחלקה לביולוגיה של אוניברסיטת ניו יורק, בהנחיית דוד גרשם ומארק סיגל כחלק
 מהמרכז לגנומיקה וביולוגיה של מערכות. בדוקטורט חקרה את איתור
 המאפיינים הגנטיים הקובעים את הוריאציה הבין תאית בקצב גדילה, בשימוש בשמרים כמודל. במהלך הדוקטורט זכתה בפרסים ומלגות על הצטיינות בהוראה ומחקר. לאחר מכן עבדה מספר חודשים במעבדתה של ג׳ודי ברמן
 באוניברסיטת תל אביב כמדענית אורחת. למדה לפוסט דוקטורט במעבדה של אלכסנדר (סנדי)
ג׳ונסון באניברסיטת קליפורניה שבסאן פרנסיסקו וזכתה מלגה לפוסט דוקטורט של הקרן של גיין 
קופינס ציילד. עבודת הפוסט דוקטורט שלה מתמקדת בחקר מולקולרי של תופעה של החלפה בין סוגי תאים בשמר קנדידה
