Housing, Equity and Race: Fair Housing in the DMV RegionHow do we expand our choices in where we live? Beginning in July, the <a href="https://www.mwcog.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments</a>, <a href="https://www.ochoaurbancollaborative.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ochoa Urban Collaborative</a>, and <a href="http://www.challengingracism.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Challenging Racism</a>, will be hosting a set of regional dialogues on the intersection of housing, transportation, environment, and race. The dialogues will help inform <a href="http://mwcog.org/fairhousing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">a regional fair housing plan</a>. The program, " Housing, Equity &amp; Race: Fair Housing in the DMV Region," will engage participants while learning about the history of housing and race, including small group discussions and storytellers from a variety of backgrounds. Each session will be 2.5 hours and will be hosted on Zoom and facilitated by Challenging Racism. The program is free and open to the public but does require registration.
