Día de Comunidad y Conservación: Latino Conservation Week Park &amp; Neighborhood Clean Up: Get outdoors and make an impact on your local environment! Join <a href="https://www.montgomeryparks.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Montgomery Parks</a> and the <a href="https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/dep/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection</a> for a guided community cleanup of Broadacres Local Park and surrounding neighborhoods. We’ll discuss how litter enters waterways from our communities and outline five things you can do to help. Be prepared to walk up to 2 miles. We will provide all equipment and gear, just dress for weather and bring water! Montgomery Parks is hosting a series of special events and programs as part of the 8th Annual  Latino Conservation Week , July 17 – 25, 2021. Latino Conservation Week was created by the Hispanic Access Foundation in 2014 to connect Latino communities across the country with opportunities to get involved in outdoor recreation, conservation education, and advocacy efforts.
