Community Greening

Community Greening has teamed up with the City of Hallandale Beach and Hallandale Beach CRA to plant 75 new shade trees at Scavo Park!

Community Greening has teamed up with the City of Hallandale Beach and Hallandale Beach CRA to plant 75 new shade trees throughout Scavo Park on Saturday, September 6th and we need volunteers to help us plant!These trees will provide cooler temperatures and added beauty to the park, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground!Community Greening will have all of the necessary tools, as well as gloves and water/snacks (though feel free to bring your own). Please wear closed-toed shoes, attire that can get a little dirty, and a hat/sunscreen.Event begins at 10m. Estimated finish around 12pm.ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE IN ADVANCE.On the day of the event, after parking, proceed to check in at the CG tent. There will be signage to help guide you.There will be street parking available along Three Islands Blvd. Pictures and posts are encouraged!
