We celebrate our Catholic tradition and the arts that spring from that dynamic seed. We offer all people of good will the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow with like-minded writers, students, and appreciators of written words that honor the Trinitarian God.In our mission, we sponsor theCatholic Poetry Society of Houston, theFearless Catholic Writing Camp, and Fearless Catholic After-School Programs.We also host monthly meetings of writers, publishers, and editors associated with the Catholic arts scene. We host mini-retreats combining spiritual reflection and the arts. We invite you to join us! All of our events retain a deep awareness of the spiritual patrimony and treasures of the Church.

Cathedral High School

Inspiring, accessible, and eloquent author and editor, Joseph Pearce, will help us to explore and understand the sacred beauty found in Shakespeare's writings. This family-friendly event will also include a dramatic reading from Romeo and Juliet by Cathedral High School students.About the Speaker: Joseph PearceA native of England, Pearce is Director of Book Publishing at the Augustine Institute, editor of the St. Austin Review, series editor of the Ignatius Critical Editions, senior instructor with Homeschool Connections, and senior contributor at the Imaginative Conservative. He has hosted two 13-part television series about Shakespeare on EWTN, and has also written and presented documentaries on EWTN on the Catholicism of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.Event PartnersCathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham, Cathedral High School, Scanlan Foundation, Ignatius Press, St. Austin Review, and Guadalupe Radio Network.
