7/21 class + 7/30 workshop outing - Experience the fast, furious, and the colorful cyclists racing around the track. Learn to get better pictures in any sports or fast-action situation and the techniques you&#x27;ll need for great photos.We&#x27;ll have exclusive access just for workshop participants to reserved infield locations for amazing up-close shots, plus full stadium access for the entire event.Dan&#x27;s Bonus: Our representatives from Sony will be on hand with some amazing demo gear for you to try out, perfect for capturing fast action under challenging conditions.In our class: July 21, 6:00pm - 7:30pmYou’ll learn about<ul><li>Safety on the infield</li><li>Freezing the action</li><li>Keying on specific racers</li><li>Anticipating the action to capture the moment</li><li>Choosing a camera mode</li><li>Getting better focus</li><li>ISO, White Balance, and Metering modes</li></ul>On location at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center: July 30, 6:00pm - 10:00pm (rain date 8/6)The night of our workshop, we&#x27;ll meet up at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. Dan’s instructors and guest instructors from Sony will provide you with hands-on instruction to help you capture amazing images. You&#x27;ll have access to the infield for the duration of our workshop, along with special press box access right on the track.Suggested gear for this outing<ul><li>Digital SLR or Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera</li><li>Fast telephoto lens (e.g. 70-200mm f/2.8)</li><li>Wide-angle lens</li><li>Monopod</li><li>White balance tools</li></ul>
