Nope! All are welcome: makers, growers, spinners, weavers, artists, educators, neighbors, and anyone enthusiastic about local textiles or community craft spaces. Whether you're a pro weaver or just curious. Come to learn, dream, or just hang out.

What is a Yarn Hall again?

A Yarn Hall is a creative, hands-on community gathering—part town hall, part fiber art jam session. It's a space to share ideas, learn about the tools we recently acquired in Burlington, and shape the vision for a community maker space focused on local fiber.

Is it free?

Yes! And light refreshments will be served.

What are the goals of the event?

Gather community input for a future textile maker studio. Build relationships across the fiber community. Explore what shared tools, workshops, or services might look like. Invite collective ownership of the space and process.

Will there be more Yarn Halls?

Yes! This is just the beginning. We’re building this slowly and together with input from people all over the Piedmont.

I’m an experienced weaver—how can I use the new looms?

PARKING: Go to 400 Roberson St, follow SWEET BAY PL to the first LEFT into
the top parking lot, next to the building. Parking Map will be emailed closer to the event date.
