We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Persuading From the Heart: The Foundation of a New Dialogue</h2><h3>Domains: Mapping Tools</h3><p>What does it really look like to persuade from the heart? How do we achieve unity and understanding in this often oppositional world? This course will explore a new way to discuss politics, or any polarizing issue, (especially with family members) that uses self-reflection, empathy and curiosity to build the kind of loving relationship with your &quot;opponents/enemies&quot; that allows for further dialogue and, eventually, a deep personal shift in worldview. Paradoxically, this course will examine tangible personal practices and dialogue tactics that bring out the humanity in us and those we want to &quot;persuade&quot;.</p><p>Jeffrey Stec is a certified mediator who practiced family law for eight years before becoming a community engagement and dispute resolution facilitator. He has also written and taught continuing legal education courses in collaborative negotiation since 2005.</p><h3>Your Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation.
