Communal Pen Community Writing Workshops

Communal Pen workshops are free and open to writers and storytellers of all levels. Our workshops center around a theme and consist of 3-4 short writing prompts. Communal Pen is a way to share stories and build community.

We spend a significant part of our young lives in school. Each individual we encounter can have an impact on us. Who were the most memorable? Who were the most challenging? Who was your favorite? Who was your least favorite? Through guided reflection and personal storytelling, this workshop offers a space to honor, understand, and give voice to the lasting influence of the educators who helped shape who we are today.
