The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership presents eight weeks of outdoor fitness classes in collaboration with local studios and gyms.

<h3>Classic Practice | <a href="https://www.dharmayogacenter.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dharma Yoga</a></h3>Experience grace in the life force within you. The yoga postures bring radiant health and long life by drawing attention to the breath, joints, muscles, and mental state. All Levels welcome to taste the bliss.This class is donation-based. 100% of the donation amount will be directed to the studio. Donations are not required to participate, but they are very much appreciated. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign. To save time, please sign our electronic waiver prior to class. For vaccinated attendees, masks are welcome, but not required. </li></ul><ul><li>Donation Refund Policy: Due to limited class size, please submit cancellation and refund requests at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to try to fill the spot. You may cancel by emailing info@flatirondistrict.nyc. Subject line &quot;Refund Request”. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the class will not be refunded and will be donated to the studio. </li></ul>

Dharma Yoga is a modern interpretation of classical Eight-limbed or Hatha-Raja Yoga, deeply rooted in ethical precepts that includes elements of flowing Vinyasa, inversions and held poses that will help you to discover concentration, meditation, abiding contentedness and deep healing relaxation. Dharma Yoga was created by Sri Dharma Mittra in 1975. The physical posture practice (Asana) tones and invigorates the body and mind, leading to enhanced flexibility, strength, balance and concentration.

The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District, formed in 2006, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance the reputation of Flatiron and NoMad as two of New York&#x27;s most vital and exciting neighborhoods. This is accomplished by maintaining a clean and safe environment for the district&#x27;s businesses, residents, and visitors; by spearheading area improvement projects; and by marketing the diverse business and retail options in this vibrant and historic area.
