Do I need a ticket for this event?

Accepted Answer

You DO NOT need a ticket for this event. While Eventbrite provides an option to "get tickets," please note that this option is not necessary for attendance. However, the number of people who indicate interest by "getting tickets" on the site will help us gauge attendance.

Where is accessible parking for people with disabilities?

Accepted Answer

Accessible parking will be available on the first row on the west
side of the National Weather Center parking lot.

Question 3

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Accepted Answer

Weather permitting, this event will take place both indoors and outdoors. It spans across the National Weather Center building,  throughout the NWC parking lot, and continues into the Advanced Research Radar Center located to the east of us.

Question 4

Do I need to use a clear bag similar to OU sporting events?

Accepted Answer

To ensure everyone's safety during the Festival, all visitors wishing to enter the NWC must adhere to our Clear Bag Policy. This means only a small clutch purse (measuring 6.5" x 4.5") or a small clear tote. Thank you for your cooperation in making this event safe for everyone!

What kind of bags or items should I avoid bringing?

Accepted Answer

Items that should be avoided and left in your vehicle include backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, camera bags, purses, luggage, shopping bags, large cameras, or any objects that can offer concealment.

Question 6

What about wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers - are they allowed?

Accepted Answer

Wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and canes are allowed. Additionally, items such as umbrellas, jackets, sweaters, small wallets, medication, small cameras and camcorders, cell phones, and small sealable beverage containers are permitted, though they are subject to inspection.

Question 7

Where is  general parking?

Accepted Answer

Parking is available to the public at the Lloyd Noble parking lot (2900 S Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK 73019). Shuttles will be available to transport guests from the parking lot to the event and back.

Question 8

Is there transportation from the parking lot to the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! After you park at the Lloyd Noble Parking Lot, the CART bus will transport you to and from the event.
