GetSomeJoy Peer Support Group
Overview
GetSomeJoy’s Peer Support Groups are free, peer-led spaces for adults with experiences navigating mental health or substance use challenges.
This group occurs biweekly on Wednesdays + Sundays @ 4:30 PDT/7:30 EDT. Attendees can connect with others who understand, receive support and accountability, discuss coping + creative wellness strategies, and offer each other hope.
Share how you're doing and what's impacting and supporting you, hear how others are finding joy and making it through, leave with connections and tools for thriving.
GetSomeJoy has hosted over 250 Community Mental Health Check-Ins via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter Spaces, Zoom, and in-person since 2018, providing welcoming space to discuss one's experiences + celebrate oneself, connect with caring folks who care, and access resources. This Peer Support Group Program is an expansion of that trusted offering.

- Groups are open to people aged 18+
- All spaces are free, virtual, confidential, and led by trained peers

- No insurance, diagnosis, or audition required
- Group facilitators do not provide clinical or medical advice
- Peer Support Groups are not Emergency Support Services
