Join us for a seated lunch at The Willard on Wednesday, September 17 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. to hear legendary Supreme Court litigators Jeffrey L. Fisher (Stanford Law School) and Erin E. Murphy (Clement &amp; Murphy) discuss the U.S. Supreme Court's criminal law docket for the 2025-26 term.Pre-registered attendees will receive a three-course meal and CLE credit for VA, NY, and CA lawyers. (Applications requesting MCLE credit for this activity are pending for approval by the State Bars of Virginia, New York, and California. When credit is approved, CLE certificates will be emailed to you at the email address used for registration to this event.)Needs-Based Scholarships: If you are unable to cover the $50 registration fee, there are a limited number of scholarships available. Thank you for your understanding.Lunch Menu:The first course served will be a vegan and gluten free salad. The dessert course will be a vanilla crème brûlée with fresh berries.There are 2 options for the main course. The default choice is gluten free and nut free: a pepper crusted filet mignon, served with au gratin potato, a medley of baby carrots and asparagus, and a madeira reduction. The alternative main choice, which must be pre-ordered by noon Sept 12, is a vegan, gluten free and dairy free option: a wild mushroom and roasted garlic potato napoleon, wilted spinach, truffle scented mushrooms, roasted eggplant risotto, and yellow pepper coulis.
