WESTCHESTER LAND TRUST IS YOUR LAND TRUSTThe Westchester Land Trust works with public and private partners to preserve land in perpetuity, and to enhance the natural resources in Westchester and eastern Putnam counties. WLT’s conservation efforts impact the long-term health of these communities through the protection of watershed areas, air quality, and food supply. Tom Burke Memorial Preserve

A BioBlitz is an effort to find and identify as many species as possible in a given place over a short time. Westchester Land Trust is partnering with Healthy Yards, and heading to WLT&#x27;s Tom Burke Preserve to document its biodiversity and share our love of community science. 
Hymenoptera–-bees, wasps, hornets and ants–-are some of the most misunderstood, successful and complex animals in the world. Join amateur naturalist Murray Fisher of Healthy Yards, who has photographed hundreds of hymenoptera species here in Westchester, to track down and try to identify as many of these elusive and beautiful creatures as possible! 
If you register and cannot attend, please be respectful and cancel your tickets so that we may contact those on the waitlist. Each person may only register for their own family.
