Tom Burke Memorial Preserve

A BioBlitz is an effort to find and identify as many species as possible in a given place over a short time. Westchester Land Trust is partnering with Healthy Yards, and heading to WLT's Tom Burke Preserve to document its biodiversity and share our love of community science. Enjoy a rare opportunity to visit the preserve after dark! We will shine a light behind a sheet to attract and learn about the moths and other night-flying insects living there. WLT's preserve manager, John Zeiger, will be leading this event. If you register and cannot attend, please be respectful and cancel your tickets so that we may contact those on the waitlist. Each person may only register for their own family. For more information, or to discuss group participation, contact Gentian Falstrom at gentian@westchesterlandtrust.org or 914-234-6992 ext. 14.
